Frankfort, June 22 – Daniel H. Miller, 78, retired electrical engineer, died at the McKinsey Nursing Home Sunday evening following a stroke of paralysis suffered June 11. Born in Putnam County he married Martha Richardson in January 1888. She passed away in 1939. He resided in Frankfort a few years after 1914, then moved to Indiana Harbor before returning here following his retirement. Surviving are two sons, Lewis of Chicago and Roy of Frankfort; two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Darner of Hammond and Mrs. Daisy Varney of Kokomo; 7 sisters, including Mrs. Della Payton of Advance. Friends may call at the Aughe & Son Funeral home, after 7 o’clock Tuesday evening. Services there at 2:30 Wednesday Rev. Ora McDaniel. Burial: Bunnell cemetery. - transcribed by kbz
